We started the day off by writing in our journals. Students answered the following: What is YOUR definition of fashion? Next we moved to talking about measurements and seam allowances. We worked on the measurement pages in our booklets. We even practiced showing the different measurements on our sewing machines.
After we started talking about the different parts of the sewing machine. We are labeling the sewing machine.
Remember to bring a spool of thread to school for your sample book and so we can learn how to thread the machine.
